Yeah, I like that she started. Action. Welcome to the Hollywood Scarlett's podcast for film lovers by film lovers. I am your director for the episode today. My name is Sam, and as always, I'm joined by the talented, very talented Aaron. Hello, Aaron. I've. Mike, that was almost, almost the cleanest intro. Oh my gosh, why am I holding a pen? Why have I ruined this one? If that hasn't picked up, then that means nothing to everyone. But this is a sensitive point. Yeah, it's 100% picked up. I am joined by the ever talented Aaron. Hi, Aaron. I'm gutted now. I'm absolutely gutted. All the rest. How have you been, my friend? How is life treating you? Since we saw each other, right? Since. Yeah. Well, yeah, because we see each other in person. The internet may not know that. Who knows? They don't know. We just. They may thing that. We just kind of meet up once a week, and we never talk outside of that. No. Yeah, we're just colleagues, that's all. We are, acquaintances. You know, 20, 25 is 2025, and I can't say it's been as bad as 2024 so far, but. Well, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Been all right. I hope everybody else is good. We're in February now. Yes. Yeah we are recording is on second Feb which is crazy. Our 12th episode of the Hollywood Scarlets. Thank you for sticking with us. Those have let's go in. Yeah. Weekly rushes. We talk about films that we've seen this week. We give you our opinion on them. If you want more in I'll say not in depth at all on letterbox, but it's more right there and then review of our reactions. As I say, we go more in the I definitely go more in depth on my reviews. Yeah, you are more of like a talking person kind of review. Yeah, I like to say it. Yeah, yeah, I'll leave a couple of comments. But yeah, I need to say as part of the review. So weekly Rushes this week feature two films that we've seen this week together together one, it's out the week, one at the very end of the week, two very different reviews you're going to get from us here. Yeah. We'll start with let's start with the one that we didn't enjoy quite as much, because I like to end on the positive Wolf Man directed by Leigh Whannell, those obviously unfamiliar with his work, you know, writer of Thor, writer of insidious and quite recent. See this in The Conjuring, I believe. Did he write The Conjuring? Did he write The Conjuring? Let me double check. He wrote insidious. No, he didn't write The Conjuring. Oh, redacted. My apologies, I am sorry. I just wish James Wan. Isn't it? I just think you think he does what James Wan is. He writes. But obviously no writer of obviously saw and Insidious and most recently he directed and wrote The Invisible Man, which I know for a fact we both love. If I checked Essex. So he's take on another creature character from the MonsterVerse, Wolf Man or this did not go down well for me. This did not. It did not hit as much as I really wanted it to, and I was. So I was disappointed coming out of this one, I think. I think both me and you had quite high hopes. For those that listen to our 2025 preview episodes are and over this five he thought he was going to give it five I thought it's going to give it four. I personally gave it a two, and you were just half a star higher than me on two and a half were both literally half of what we predicted. Yes. Oh yeah we are. Yeah. So I mean, we obviously spoken about it in person. Could people don't know what we talk about outside work. That's not of work outside a life. What was your life now that we've sat on it for a few days? Is there anything more. Is anything what you're. I still, you know, I'm. I'm to come in with a positive voice. That's a Hollywood Scarlett. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes. The way he approached the Wolf Man and the idea of werewolf thing. Yes. It was very cool. I really liked it. I agree, I agree not, I don't think it's too much spoilers. Obviously if it if it is, we'll cut this out. But you won't ever hear this. But obviously his take on the Wolf Man is very much it's not a there's a full moon. Oh, look, I'm a big bad wolf now. And then the moon goes away and then he's back to normal. He's very much throughout the night. He is going through stages of this transformation, which I thought was a really fresh, interesting. Yeah, I liked it and I liked the makeup. It obviously didn't use any CG in practical. Yeah. All practical. So with the design of him, you can see this character turn more and more into a werewolf style creature, I guess. Yes, I completely agree. Yeah, I enjoyed that was really cool. Apparently inspired by his own experiences of watching somebody he loved go through, I think it was dementia. And yeah, so he he wanted to emulate the idea of watching someone you love, like, just fading away in front of you. Oh, yeah. Well, now I thought, now I feel bad for not. I think he captured it. I yeah, I think in terms of the characterization of the Wolf man, strong characterization, all the characters, basically the characters. And we don't like to tell people in the industry, like, I do think the acting didn't fully communicate the emotional core that the film needed. Yeah. Go with that theme of what I've just mentioned of watching somebody fade away. No, I agree, I think the chemistry was just a bit off. I just I didn't feel the pain or the the feeling of loss through the characters. If that's what Leigh Whannell was trying to display with the Wolf Man. Like, lose It, watching someone you love fall apart in front of you. I didn't, I guess I didn't quite convey for me in the actors. Oh, I think I think I've identified possible issue and why it didn't work as well. Okay, I'm getting some story now. This isn't this isn't a spoiler because this is like, literally you find out in the first five minutes. But the characterization of the main guy, he has a really good relationship with his daughter. He has a really bad relationship with his wife. Yeah, I think that was a mistake to set it up like that. Okay. Because I think then what you what you see in the film is you see a lot of the emotional core of watching him deteriorate coming from his wife. But you don't believe that as much because they weren't really getting on. No. Yeah. So maybe if they had switched it so that you had a really good relationship with his wife and not necessarily a bad relationship with his daughter, you could still have that, but just improved that relationship from the beginning. Yeah. Then I think it would hit harder now. I agree, I think, but obviously again, no spoilers because it happens in the first like five minutes, you say. I think he's characterization was based on what issue he had with his dad, which is why I think he's then had to try so hard with his daughter to not become his dad. So I think if you then that kind of then that beginning I guess can't afford to part. It's if you switch that. Yeah, yeah. Then switch it so that the emotional core is the daughter. Yeah. Focus as much on on the mum. Focus on the daughter which it didn't do. It was focusing on the mum. Yeah. The set pieces and the tension it raised. He can create tension. He knows horror. It's clear that he knows horror. There's a very James Wan approach to some of his directing. I feel with the fluidity of some camera movements. I notice in some of James Wan's directing, when he directs horror, the camera just moves, and it allows things to kind of go on around this, around it. And I noticed in some of the movements when, for example, he's in the basement with the light, the camera's moving with the light. It's not like he's moved. And then the camera's then cut to over there. The camera's moving with the character's eyes. In a way. He's looking up, looking down kind of thing. And I see that in James Wan's directing. The camera does the work and you seeing, oh, hold on, there's that. You see that thing walking behind him? Come with it. I'm gonna go a step further. Good influence. I'm gonna say James Wan, I love his I love his horror. James wan oh, he's great. And I'm going to go a step further and say that I don't think it's just Lee. Well, now he's been influenced by that. I think James Wan changed the face of horror. Just how always. Yeah, this is the width t of it. Look at Mike Flanagan. And this is a TV job part of the TV job. But The Haunting of Hill House and all of the House of usher, which is fucking up there, by the way, I know we shouldn't talk about TV, but for the house of usher. Oh, but he also uses that kind of movement where, like you just following the camera, there are no cuts and you see things in the background yet, like, it's all hidden, but insidious did it. That style of horror is brilliant. It is. It is no sharp cuts. There's no there was a few jumpscares in both, man. This one particular that got both of us, did, because I've seen many a horror with you. And I've not seen you jump. I see you get a little bit who is a couple of moments tense. But that particular baby wolf man, I've never seen you leap off your seat before. I just came from nowhere. To be fair, there was a couple of. But on the on the flip side of that directing, there's a couple of moments in it. I felt it lingered too long. And I'll give you the example of the opening where you're looking through the scope. We go to that shot 6 or 7 times. Yep. And after the you're thinking, oh, hold on, something's coming up here. And then after about the fourth or fifth one, you're a bit exhausted. You're just like, here's something to kill, something just come up now kind of thing. That's how I felt a little bit with the opening. Overall horror was horror. The drama was not. No, no it wasn't. That was where I really got let down, which I think is what it needed the most to sell what was happening to the Wolf Man character. But let's go on to a film that we had a blast with Bango. Oh, what a film. So on Monday we went to go watch companion, directed by Drew Hancock in his feature film debut. I thought it no, he was meant to direct the brutalist, not brutalist. Whoa, no. Whoa, that's completely different. People. Barbarian. He was meant to direct barbarian, but it went to his name. Escapes me. So companion was give it to Drew Hancock to direct. The film features Jack Quaid as a, this, I don't know how much to kind of really go into it because it's the film and the themes are phenomenal. I really it's weird to say I had a blast with this film with the subject matter at hand. However, do you know, you get what I mean? It's like it's wasted. But however, the way the subject matter is portrayed and the themes of it, the way it's acted, it's just it was beautiful. It was brilliant. And it does something quite difficult, I think, with some some horrors and themes that are touched upon, is that the comedy in the film takes nothing away from the horror that you are watching. The comedy is dark at times. Obviously it's quite funny, but like, there's no like, comic relief. You're very clearly in this world with these characters that have clearly fucked up and they're trying to work out and the way that they're trying to get out of it is quite realistic. They would say these things, it would happen like this kind of thing. And I thought it was very realistic, the comedy. I took nothing away from the white heavy, the quite heavy, the quite heavy themes of the film. Yeah, I agree, I mean, it was just you've kind of captured on everything. I think Jack Quaid is starting to play the nice guy too. Well, yeah, he's starting to freak me out, although he's tight. Have you seen that? He did a red carpet for companion. He did his fall. He did a letterbox, and he was like, oh, so I've written it down because I've been waiting for this moment and he's like, I finally made it. He's such a cool guy. He does seem like a very cool guy. And he's very he's leaned into the nepo baby kind of thing because I think he said, I didn't know he was like, but I know I'm good at what I do, so I'm going to keep doing it. And yeah, he's really good at what he does. He's brilliant not to put another pound in that TV job, but if you have, if you've not seen the boys, it's he he him in the boys is fantastic. Do you are going to go. Oh the boys is so good. And Sophie Thatcher, you know she's playing this II character, this quite with a lot of heart and a lot of like robot. Well I robot isn't cheap. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but what you're looking for the word no. But she. But the emotion that's conveyed with her performance I truly I loved companion I think it's it's up there. Well I say it's up there with 2nd February so you know I mean you say that though, but we've watched a lot of homes as per our challenge, and top two so far, Nosferatu and companion for me, I to have a companion who I would go back into my diary on. So just on the note of Jack Quaid, if you like him and you haven't seen him five. Oh, I screen five. Three. Five. Yeah. And then you'll see I almost play side character to me. I think he's a little bit more vindictive in scream, I would say, because he's. Oh, it. Oh, better at planning. Yes. And I make sense in this one. He's just he just kind of. Yeah. Looking around okay. So best film of the year so far. Does it have to be released this year or just the best film I've watched? I'd say, because when we come to our 2024 2025 review, December, it's going to be films release in 25. Okay, like for me. Yeah, Nosferatu and companion for me. So so far, yeah. But we've only watched three films that have been released this year. Yeah. No, but that's just you just shit in a wolfman. Nothing. Nobody's. Oh, not for no reason, but, the I've. I've watched a lot of films. I've read four and a half stars this year. Yeah, I've got companion. I've got Exuma. The mask that was a bit longer ago. Oh, yeah. I've got, like, Godzilla minus one I watch this year. And yeah, I did the Christopher Reeve documentary. Oh, very highly scored, but I just think I've always just keeping it to what's going to be reviewed in our in our review December. That okay. Your top four. You like to watch top four. That's supposed to. Well we haven't watched for. No but that's what I mean. That's so dope. So like right now they're in the top. They're occupying those spots. But we've got a whole lot of film we've got. I mean, in February alone, we've got quite a few films that we're going to watch. We obviously next time you listen to the podcast, well, no, not the next time. Oh, wait. No. Yeah. Next week, next week's episode, I forget. Obviously, the next time this is the podcast is when it's already released anyway, blah blah blah blah. You. Well, no. No. Okay, next week's episode, you hear us talk about the brutalist and a complete unknown to Oscar films. Yeah, we're going to probably go for a period of watching all the Oscar films. Yeah, because obviously with the Oscars being in March, we want to do our predictions. Yep. I will say next, next episode. I know you're very excited for this episode and I know no, no, no, no. They're like wanting to get into the topic next episode. I have got a cracker planned. Interesting. Oh my. What is this? The is this the Valentine? Is this the rom com thing? Yes. So, okay, if you've listened to this podcast before for a while, you'll know we have a series called Sam Takes a Film Quiz. Oh, yeah. And Sam never does quite well in these film quizzes. So it's. No, it's about 5050. I'm going to tell you now next week you're going to want to do well because why watch. It's not a threat. This might be this. Right. Okay. Interested interested I don't want say no more. No. Well that takes me onto the topic of this episode. So past few weeks, obviously we've been, you know, we'd be quite talky talking. We talked about video games, we talked about the Oscars. So. Well, let's bring some interactivity to the to the listeners this week. I thought, let's do kind of a quiz with you, but not a quiz. So as Aaron has alluded to before, he likes to spring these quizzes on me. And next week's quiz is the first one I actually know is coming, whereas the previous two I didn't. So it's on the fly now. It doesn't know what this episode is about. So my episode is split into two parts, and the two parts I'll explain as we get to the parts. So when you spring a quiz on me, you give me some random ask questions. However, in those questions, you give me letterbox reviews and I have to guess the film from the weird reviews or whatever the reviews are written. I like that, yeah. So I've kind of brought that into today's episode of Letterbox Reviews that you have to guess the film on. But they're not just anybody's reviews, they are your reviews. So I have taken ten letterbox reviews that you have left on letterbox, and I want you to guess the film. Now, here's how the pointing system works, because I'm laying it all out now, so there's no room for anything in the letter. Later episodes, however, there are two points up for grabs, so this segment is split into two. There are ten films in the first one, and there are ten films in the second one. There are two points available for each film. Okay, for women in the whole thing. No two points really quickly. So 4040 points up for grabs. Now in this first segment I'm going to read you ten are and you find in my letterbox reviews of films. And he has to tell me what film he left that review of. If he gets the film correct, he gets a point. If he tells me what star rating he gave it, he gets the second points harder. However, however, if I have to give you a clue to the film, you forfeit a point regardless of if you get the film and the star rating afterwards. So I'm just not going to ask for clues then. No, you get one wrong answer. What do you mean you get one wrong answer and then what happens? And then it's no. If you get no, so you get one wrong answer before I before clue. Okay, so if you get the answer wrong okay. Then you get the next one wrong. You're out. Okay. So it's not necessarily if I ask for a clue, it's just if I get an answer wrong, I forfeit a point and you give me a clue no matter what. No, you can either. You can even gamble and try one more time without a clue. You're done okay if you get it wrong. But if you're like, I don't know, give me a clue, you forfeit a point. I will give you a clue to the film. If you don't get it right, you get one point. Regardless of if you get the star of the film. Right. Okay, okay. Do you know what part of me is like this can't be that difficult because I haven't written that many reviews. You've written 80 reviews on letterbox. I have gone through, and I've tried to find the ones that you don't very clearly. Right. Oh, A Quiet Place is a great film, I loved it. Yeah. Listeners, as we go along, it will start to fall into place. What is happening? And then when we get to the second part of the quiz, I cannot wait. I cannot wait for the second part of the quiz because, oh boy. So I'm going to start okay. With two points up for grabs for your first film. Aron, your review banner, what's the film? Oh, that's. Yes Bangor. You wrote Bangor for this review. Oh, that's got to be a rewatch. There was there would be no way that for first time watch I would just write Bangor. That would be for this. There has to be a rewatch. Oh, if I rewatch recently, that feels like something I would say recently because I started saying Bangor in the past year. I'm fucking psychologically I myself here this year. Yeah, it's difficult, isn't it? But right. This is so vastly different. This is your review. I write. Why giving you some random is review. This is your review a warm word review. You know, I'm giving you your one word review. You got this up on your phone in you tight Bangor. When you watch this film, this is you. You've only got yourself to play. One immediately comes to mind. But I'm not solid on it. Oh, but like it is a banger to me. I mean, to be fair. Yeah, a lot of. You know what I mean. This is how I describe a lot of film. You've got 678 films and you're like, what? You've what you've got on your letter box, obviously 80. You've written a review for. I'm sure a lot of them are bangers, but which one did you write? I know evil, I know I'm gonna hit the substance. Substance? Yeah. Incorrect. I didn't think it was. So you've got one more guess at two points or I'll give you a clue. Well, obviously I have to take the clue on it, so. No, that's fine. I'll give you a clue. James Gunn's version is better. Oh, wait. What? So James Gunn's version is better. Well, that only gives one possibility. Which would, He rewrote what's he done? It's the Suicide squad. It is the Suicide Squad. Okay, this is for score. So you get one point. I just clarify before people come at me. That was for James Gunn's version. It was. Yes, it was. Yeah, yeah. That was not even in my mind. What was it by now, if you want to move on to the next one, by all means, if you want to have a guess of what you scored it by all means doesn't mean anything. I think I have five star in that one, right? Four and a half. And I put Bangor. You put Bunga bunga for now. I'm an idiot. Okay, the last second film, honestly, one of the biggest mysteries of this thriller was what accent David Tennant was going to be using in the next scene. Thrilling stuff. Oh fuck me, I know the film. What's it called? Oh, it's got Robert Shannon in it. It's, I going to describe the fucking plot to you and everything. I just can't remember the name of the film. Yeah, genuinely. This is like one of the few films I've watched with David Tennant where I've been like, that's because normally I love him as an actor. I think he's great. And as a person it's phenomenal. Oh, you shout David Tennant! Oh, I completely agree. I can describe the poster to you. Oh, this can't be the name of the bastard film. So this is the thing here now, though, because a clue is not going to help me because I know what the film is. Okay? He's got this supporting role as Robert Sheehan, who was a misfit. Yes. Yes. You're correct. Yeah. No, they were the film. This is a really long time ago. And I was a bitch in that review. You left this review in 2018. That's sick. That's that's seven years ago. Oh, no. Sorry. The film was released 2018. Oh, that's not going to take a point away from you there. That was a, I know a film is. I just know the name. You watch it at the 94th January 2022, three years. I don't remember what I did three weeks ago, man. Come on. It's there's a spade. Like, there's, like a kill that happens, and it like rubbish. And there's, like, haunted by David Tennant. The name ain't coming to me. And that's going to piss me off because I know the film. That's the forfeited. I feel like I have to, because even with the clue, I can't get that name. Okay, that's fine. As long as you've said on your forfeiting the point, that's fine. Yeah. Film was called Bad Samaritan Poster this year. I can go for like the thin line, but no, the thin line was so wrong star wise. Oh, I don't think it was high for 1.53 because you gave it three, so. Okay. Yeah, I don't know if it's a rewatch. You'll probably change it three. Next one I almost knocked half a star off for the sheer audacity of choosing to have Jeff Goldblum's cat thrown out of a window, but alas, that seemed a bit harsh for an otherwise beautiful and delightful experience. Jeff Goldblum's cat thrown out of a window. Oh my God. Oh, for Jeff Goldblum, it was like the fly, but beautiful and delightful. That's throwing me off. Why is because, like invasion of the Body Snatchers came to mind? Because he was in that. But I don't remember his cat being thrown out the window. And that was not beautiful. Delightful. What the hell? Film. The Jeff Goldblum rubber cat. I'm gonna go. First choice. I'm gonna. Going a fly. Incorrect. Okay, so you have one more chance at two points, or you can forfeit points. I can give you a clue. What if I just go for the. This is going to be a fun one to edit. Yeah, it's just a lost silence. Is I just put like a just put like, what is it the jeopardy theme. Like de de de de de de de. You cut it. It would be nice because you just see the lack of fucking, what they called the sound. Oh, sound, sound, sound. But what they call those sound, What sounds? No, but it's waves. Sound waves. Sound waves. I'm sure it's close enough. Yeah, we'll go with it. I this what you're doing? I'm trying to, like, move my mind. And they work in the background. Fuck sake. I'm going to go, invasion of the Body Snatchers because I don't know, incorrect. So you, So you didn't you didn't want to have a clue? No. I thought it was the Grand Budapest Hotel. Yeah, it's another one that I don't personally remember that scene. But do you remember what you rated it? The Grand Budapest? Oh, it would be like a four and five was if I rated at five. You put a lot on it. So it was well I love. Yeah. Only five star. Let's get love hearts. Ralph Fines is probably one of my favorite foreign films. Oh. Yeah. Because that scene was like. Oh, right. And then did you think. Yeah, I knew that. Never found it. Never found out. Like, cause quotes death. And you think you think I murdered her? So, What? Yeah. The scene in the confession where they're like, a second will a second win of the first week like that. Okay. I was like, can you tell me what the fuck is going on like that? I, I almost had to pause. The film was crying. Wes Anderson, man, is a genuine fucking genius. Not just like, esthetically, but like, everything. Yeah, he makes great films. I agree. Next film. I'm not enjoying this. I am not because it's fun. It's for once I'm looking at it. Once I'm seeing what you see when I take a quiz. Fucking way. Until next week. You fucking. These are your reviews. You're having a go at me for nothing. This is. You know what you did? These are these. You typed these out. You typed these out. These are yours. I cannot wait for your reaction to the second part of this quiz because holy hell, next film. Yeah. While the amount of stars I gave this film is low, that should not reflect on its quality. I think it's simply a case of me not understanding the troubles well enough to be moved emotionally by the events depicted within the story. I'm sure Belfast is fucking available for those knowledge I've started, so I finish this. For those knowledgeable or personally attached it would hit differently. Belfast it is Belfast so you've got a points a 2.0 no, the fucking no go. Settle down. That's one wall in the chamber please. Right. So what did you give Belfast? I feel like it was a two. It was a two off your first four points of the episode. Woo okay. No, that was a difficult film that I've not seen, but I've wanted to, I've seen, it's black and white isn't it. The film. Yeah. But, directed by Kenneth Bruno. I was going to leave the last part out of it, because I thought that would have been an obvious or what it was. But you did say I do maintain. But I wanted to see more Judi Dench. I wouldn't have helped me. I wouldn't know who's in it. I'll focus. I'm trying to. I've left out a lot of like, let's say once you've maybe mentioned actors or the names or something. So like your screen reviews have been like, while Ghost Face definitely was like, well, gotta get that. Any next one? You ready? Yeah. This was completely ridiculous. Make no sense. And as an idea, it's crazy. It's cool, but I loved every second of it. Oh, that feels like Guns Akimbo, correct? Oh, yeah. Correct. And can you remember what I go for? For knife? I don't think I gave it a five. I don't think I would have been that audacious. I might have for. Oh, yeah. Oh he's on a roll. If you haven't seen Guns Akimbo fucking how what an experience that was. I've not seen it. No, but I've seen the poster for it. I'm looking at it right now, and Daniel Radcliffe looks mental. Yeah. Daniel Radcliffe, he gets guns taped and, nailed to his hands. And then he is just caught on an adventure. So dumb. But I love it. Next one. Yeah, it was too full of comedy cliches and sequences, jokes we've already seen before. This sequel is basically just a carbon copy of the original, with a different locations and actors that were a few laughs, but overall pretty much it is. Murder mystery two. It is Murder Mystery two. And what star did you give murder Mystery to? The one the half on the half, one and a half is correct. Yeah. Look at this. He's got it. Okay. No, I have not seen that. This is the first of all. I've even seen the first one. Not the first one I actually really enjoyed. I thought it was quite fun. Yeah, but literally the second one is just the same film, but a slightly bigger budget. So it's kind of disappointing. But yeah, it was. It's like Adam Sandler's Netflix kind of, yeah, whatever contract he seems to have with them exclusive rights, which is probably making him a whole lot of money. Yeah. So that next one, a reviewer on TikTok described this as almost 90 minutes of Sydney Sweeney's perfect boobs. Honestly disgusting that Glenn's abs didn't even get a mention. I do feel like you should have redacted the names of the actors that, well, yeah, but like a few of you on TikTok described this almost 90 minutes of perfect boobs of blanks, perfect boobs. But yeah, that was, anyone but you. Yes, it was. And do you remember what you gave it? I gave a four. I'm a four for. No, it was three and a half. Should I get a second guess? No. Why? Because I forgot that was the wrong five years from now, when you get a second go. Ironically, I would have said three and a half. Oh. Would you, Well that's fine. We'll move on to the next one. Yeah. Got the main character. Had me tearing my hair out for this whole movie, and that's coming from a bald guy. Stupid humor. That's a poor joke. But what main character at you tearing your hair out, right. That could be so many different things. Which main character to piss me off? Nothing's coming to mind. Really? Yep. This extensive film knowledge is getting in the way here. Got. I noticed that extensive film knowledge in the habit of watching too many films. I I'm. I mean, I'm even just trying to think of a film where the main character piss me off, and I'm struggling with that. What's a horror film? The horror is where I'm going because I feel like in horror the characters normally annoy me, like in Wolfman. Oh my God, the decisions those characters were make. Yeah, Jesus Christ, yeah. I'm surprised you didn't run about the daughter in your I was close, I was home, I was there's things that I just, I didn't know, but like the decision making with the daughter was horrendous. Awful. Absolutely horrendous. Poor parenting. That's what it was. I just I've got to go and say it. I genuinely don't know. I can't even hazard a guess. A so I was a and go for a clue for film four. Go for a clue. That's fine. I completely forgot this film even came out last year. That's not the clue. That's just me saying please, you forgot what clue can I give you for this? You didn't have these pre-written. No, I didn't, because when you didn't want a clue for Bad Samaritan, I was shit in myself because I'm like. I've not seen the film. No idea what clue I can give you for this. So I'm glad you took a shot at the doctor. No, I just thought I'll. Let's give you an on the fly clue that I could give you. Okay. I've not personally seen the film. The first one I've seen, which is great in the 80s, had a sequel, and then it had some legacy sequels which featured the characters coming back. Also had a remake, which people seemed to shit on because men. That's because men. Because men. Oh my God, that's so much information. You would think it would help, I think, yeah, I think I gave you quite a bit that. Oh my God, this is going to piss me off. No. Okay. So it came on the 80s. Men a shit. You see, the first one, they came out last year. This one. Did you, what in the actual fuck? How many you made? That your clash? Yeah, that's who. But who was I? That's. It feels like Halloween ends. It kind of fits. I want to say Halloween ends. Wrong. It was Ghostbusters. Frozen Empire. Oh, yeah. She did piss me off. She. Yeah. There it is. All come rushing back. Look at the hairs coming back and you pulling it out. I just break through. So annoying. Oh, God. Yeah, I, I didn't really like that film. I've not seen it. The obviously was talking about the remake with miss McCarthy. Kate McKinnon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then, it had a sequel, legacy sequel, which I think I've seen. And then it had the Paul Rudd one a couple of years ago, and then this Paul Rudd one. No, I feel like he's only the two forward ones. There's only been to the legacy characters are in both of them though. Oh sure there was because there was afterlife. Yeah, maybe that's one I've seen. That was the Paul Rudd one, and then this one was the afterlife. Oh, do you know what that was? One before that. Oh, okay. Fair enough. Let's just be my my apologies. It gave me the wrong clue. You should give me that point. I you you did me wrong. Oh, no. Because that came out the 80s. Then it had a sequel. Then I had a remake that didn't go down well because men. And then it had to like. And then it has some legacy sequels. Okay, I get the men comment, now I get the men. Are we getting it? Yeah. So it wasn't me. It's a sad day. It was not me. What are we all now? 12345678. We have a tumor. I had these wherever I put them. Oh, okay. There is one. Right. So. Well, here's the second time you get these. Your penultimate one. No, I had the I had hadn't written down what ones I was telling you, but then I'm scrolling through your views and I was like, I probably should have screenshotted them and then done that. Hey, how we were on the fly stood. So on every level, this is not a good film, and yet it's such a good film. I don't know how to explain it, but it just taps into something in me, even if it's not technically a masterpiece. Oh. So, leave a comment on my, line deliveries of these reviews place because, that's. Or is it mama mia? Here we go again. My, my, how can I forget you? You said was this. And do you remember on a not a good film yet. Such a good film. What did you what did you review? Oh, like I said, I got four star, four stars or stars is correct. Yes. I actually enjoyed that one more than the first. I. I've not seen any. You haven't seen Mamma mia! I have not, not generally. Not an oxy. Apologies. What it is. No, I've not seen it. I it's not that I don't want to. I love the music. Come on now. A bit of ABBA glam. That's why I'm surprised. Because you. You love ABBA. Oh, hold on. Let's let's. I love ABBA songs, but I can't. I'm not, like, a super fan of them. Why did defensive. Why are you so defensive? Oh, tonight. Because I just I don't like I think it's just it's just play. What you love about is like, well no, I like ABBA songs. I love ABBA every time. And Amazon came on in the office, Sam would start singing Who wouldn't you? Yeah. So why are you getting so. Are you sure you have ABBA? Yeah. I wouldn't see the voyage. I've not seen it. I also see Mamma mia! So there we go. I've got. I had one more film and I can't find it. This is good, Brian. Dad! Hey, man. Come on now. Oh, here it it's is. Right. Okay. Sorry. Well, I couldn't fart. I've said this one should have been in life, but I scroll past it, click over it. Okay, but I found it. Now this film, in a word art. I feel like that's a really bad film. And I'm taking the piss, but, But I'm not sure. What would I say for Art's own good? Bobby? Fucking incorrect. I know it's not Bobby, but fuck it. Let's, let's play now. The clue. I actually thought it was in the top four. I think maybe something. I think the substance took its place in your top four, if I remember you correctly. Since took the place, I'm sure it did. Food. The clue is, I've heard you talk about this being one of your favorite films of all time. Okay, so the substance took the place of Jurassic Park. Okay, maybe it didn't. Then you fucking animal. What did? Everything everywhere. All at once take the place of, I'm prisoner groove. It was Emperor's new groove. Is Emperor's new groove. Yeah, it's a I knew, I knew one of them took the place. Yeah, I couldn't remember which one, so I wasn't. Oh, apologies for slight misinformation. It was a five star. I don't get the point, but it was a five star. It was five. I just want to put that on record, right I don't can we end? We're running out of time everyone. Yeah. So 123456789 1011. You got 11 out of possible 20. They're respectable. I would absolutely take that because I'm going to I've got to be this next segment of the quiz. I'm going to put it out there. It's either going to be the best or the worst thing that we've ever done on here. So I didn't want to just do letterbox things. I wanted to kind of be a bit more creative with some of the questions that I wanted to give you. Now, for those just by the way, I'm going to call this episode Sam Gets Revenge Got shot. So we for those of you that hear us and mention her name, Alana is our terrific editor as she puts a lot of work into this podcast and we are very, very grateful for her. Yeah, and she's my fiance, openly gay for ten years. There's that part as well. So there's also she's that mother of your children. Oh there's that too. Yeah. She's great. Basically she she's fantastic. So I ran by her, an idea for a segment that I wanted to give to you. The segment is it's Lorna. Synopsis. Oh, okay. I showed Lorna ten movie posters of films that she's never seen before, and I asked her to tell me what she thinks is happening in those films. Oh, my fucking God. Okay, so here's how the point system works. Hit pause. Okay, this is going to be in terms of the posters you showed her. Yes. Are they my. No. They are okay. They are the common. They are the standard. Standard posters. Yes. Yeah. I will be surprised in some of these because when, when I was going, when I was writing this episode and then I showed her the posters and she gave me some of the synopsis, I had to pause for a couple of them. So here's how the point system works. It works the same as before. If you can guess, these are films that you have seen also, and you have starred. I've stopped. Yes you have. I starred in them. Yes. Yeah, yeah. Got you so good. I was actually only in one production, but okay, so that's not one of these types of TV. So I will now. So you will get a point for the film okay. And you will get a point for the star rating that you gave it. Usually however the forfeit of a point is slightly different. The clue will be the actual synopsis of the film, and obviously if you then get it from there and get your star rating, you will then get 1.0. Okay, so two points up for grabs. Ten random film posters that I showed Lana in your filmography that you have starred and that she has not seen, we, I am going to try and deliver these as well in the way that she gave them to me. Okay, you have voice. Oh, no, wouldn't I? I want to go home. I want to stop. I want to keep seeing the kids. I want. So first film poster shout Alana a chipmunk. Is it a chipmunk? Some sort of furry animal goes on a killing rampage. Oh. I don't know what. I'm sorry with you. It's not a clue when you hear what the film is. So? So the clue again is a chipmunk. It's a chipmunk. Some sort of furry animal goes on a killing rampage. Oh, my fucking God. Okay, so the film poster would have to be some sort of animal type thing. Could be a chipmunk. Probably not, covered in blood or holding a weapon, you would think. Yeah. I have not seen that film. That sounds great. That's. No, but, Aron, you have seen this film was. You've started to lose it. Chipmunks. Is it? Your monkey goes on a killing spree? So I'm reading the actual synopsis of the film. Oh, how the fuck am I supposed to get these? Oh, buddy game, what a universe, chipmunk. I feel like your best bet is just to forfeit every. Actually. Just to just get one at the challenge where I'm locked out of ten points. No no, no, no, because there might be some. I think there's a couple that maybe, maybe you might get. But I'm trying to do land justice here and like actually give a guess and try and get close. But Jesus Christ, Lana, right. You could have made it a bit easier. No, I might change the rules slightly. Okay. I don't think I'll give you the synopsis. I think I'll give you the tagline to the film. Okay. I feel like that will be enough. I seem reachable now. You know what, Lana? This is your fault. You have to edit out the data because you did this, which is your doing. You would think it would be a horror. I just I genuinely do not know. I've seen. So weird. Alvin and the Chipmunks kind of like disaster movie comes to mind because there was actually a murderous chipmunk in that film. I no, it's not a disaster movie because I don't think I've put that in my little box. You have to fucking forfeit a point and go for the tagline, right? The tagline? Oh, you tagline for the film? Oh, don't let me get complete. This tagline for the film is get up, live your day, get killed again. Get up, live your day, get killed again. Oh my fucking God. Fucking happy death day. It's all a baby mass. It's a baby mass. It's mean. What did you think you gave birth to? Like so, so, he's literally called the baby face killer. One of my favorite things about this particular one is that you spent a good, obviously, a lot of it dead. It might be cut out pretty good. Had a lot of edits this, but you spent a lot of it going. What films have I seen with Chipmunks in the I'm, I'm just like, yeah, it's good, it's good. It's not got any chipmunks in it. This is the poster, obviously, for you listening, it's going to be difficult to convey. So I just look up the poster. But that's the poster that I showed Lana. Okay. So it's just a reflection in the knife. I'll give her a little bit more of a prop there, so. But, like, all kind. Yeah. I'll give her a little, because I thought it was going to be the face of him. And it's a baby. It's baby face. So one point. Oh, boy. Do you remember what I gave just out here? I think it was the first one I actually kind of enjoyed. I think like a three and a half, maybe just three. Just three. Three. Yeah. I think the first one was I enjoyed that film. You know, I thought it's quite good. The second film. Yeah. Really. We got nine, we got nine more a Santa, a bad Santa, some sort of horror Santa for night. Incorrect. Fuck. Incorrect. Oh, fuck. So, Hunter, bad Santa, some sort of horror Santa. Fuck. I thought it was Violent Night. You're confident with that? To be fair, you came straight at me with that. Is is Santa covered in blood in the poster? I was like, oh, all right, okay, well, I guess I'll have to tag mine because I've already lost the point. Oh, God, I you know what? That's one. I was fairly confident you might get that. Oh, well, I haven't thought about it, but I thought I'd already lost the points. I might as well go for it all. Can I still get two points? If I can get two point? Yeah, it's to me. Okay. Yeah. Hold off, hold off, hold off, hold on. Now. That's why. Oh, it's not Krampus, is it? Krampus? It is Krampus. It is Krampus. Yes, it is the poster with his hand on the snow globe. Yeah. What did you give it? I think I'm a four star for that one. Incorrect comment. You are a three star oh two. Three star for that. Oh, I should read that. Higher. That's actually a really good four items. Khan. Anthony. Oh, good. Have you not seen Krampus again? I'm not saying that. Not. My apologies. So, one point for next Lama synopsis. So it's the devil with a present. It's not a nice present because he's the devil. For fuck's sake. What the hell? The devil with the present. Okay, I'm just focusing on that part because the other part is just nonsense. Is it? Yeah. That's, devil with the present. That's not a nice present. What the fuck? Awesome. If I worship the devil of a present, whatever works for the devil, I think. Let's, Not. This doesn't count to any taken away from your clothes and stuff like that. Line of thought. Happy Death Day was a chipmunk. So let's not focus so much. Just. I'm trying to, like, recoil recall posters where it kind of looks like it. Yeah. That's fair. That's for because I have nothing else to go on. If I go in the synopsis alone. That's that's also quite fair. This is what this feels like. This. It's quite funny. Look, I see what you do. This one is so much easier than what you've done to me. This is. I know, right? Oh, yeah. This second part. Yeah. It's quite, it's quite, quite the one. It might become a recurring feature called Eleanor. Synopsis. On the episode, we'll see how wholesale. Well, this goes down. This. I'm trying to think of films she hasn't seen as well. Yeah, but for example, that was probably came to mind. But she is seeing double as product. She has to have seen them. It hasn't. Eleanor, for fuck's sake. This devil with the present. I'm losing it. Losing my mind. I'm going to go, little Nicky. Incorrect. Incorrect. Would you like to try one more? Would you like to play this one? The tagline is you'll tear your soul apart. You'll tear your soul apart. That's, He'll tell you, fuck me sideways. Oh, my God, fucking hell raiser, but I did. It's not called fucking hell, Rose. It's just called hell raiser. But yes, it is a it's it's ironic. Was the. I put myself behind you. I have a Hellraiser figurine with the poster on the front of it. That is the poster that I showed her. Yes. It's him at the front holding the cube that she thought was a nasty present. Because he's the devil. I mean, she's not too far off. No, she. She asked after what she said. Was I close? Like I told her the synopsis. To be fair, there are a couple. What? She wasn't far off. The happy Death day was just. I had to stop for a minute after that one. So, what what writing did you give it? Hellraiser. I didn't like too much. I'm here 2 or 3. Three. Three. Three. Yeah, yeah, I didn't like it that much. So next one is. Good luck with this. This is every film ever, though. She friends owns him, but he wants more. Something in the middle happens and then she loves him. In the end. Yes. Is it just friends? It. It's just. No, it's only show. Whoa. Out of nowhere. Back post ed in the end. So what, rating did she give that? So did I did, I think it was a four. I'm gonna go for three and a half with one point for that one. I feel I should just get two by default. If I get these right. I mean, I'm I'm close, but I have to stick to my. What? I said at the beginning. These are the rules. How how did you get this? The poster is very obvious. Like he wants more. And because it's him trying to kiss her and her pushing him away, I didn't show her that one. I showed her the one where he was really chubby. I thought that one was the main poster. To be fair, no, I think that's my choice on IMDb. This. And which page? You. This the main poster. Okay, that's why I did double check if it was. That's what I had to do with yours, is that I do double check. It wasn't one that you picked and it was the main one. But confusion that by the way, I pay for letterbox patron, which means I get to pick the posters on my reviews. That's why we keep saying that, because. Oh yeah, I have different posters. I don't, I have to whatever. Yeah, I literally that is what my subscription tells me. So we're all the halfway mark. Yeah. So two policemen, one isn't human and he looks blue. That is. Bastard. Both. Correct. Incorrect. Will Smith film. It's bright. It is bright. And what did you give? Right. The two incorrect one and a half. You did not like that film? No, I didn't, I didn't. It wasn't very good. It was it. David Hughes film after Suicide Squad was. Yeah, it was kind of his like back into the group because he did. What did he do with Brad Pitt and Charlotte both? It's a war film. Oh, Oh, that was supposed to be really good. And then you do Suicide Squad, which wasn't. So then bright was kind of supposed to be his. Kind of like right back to work. And then it wasn't good. It's the tank film. I never do. I know he's always called them. Okay, so halfway mark out of a possible ten, you got five, right. So fair enough. Never the ratings, ironically never more right. No. That's right. Yeah. Those are the ones you don't see to get what guys the next one. So it goes back to school was an ad out in the third grade. Will be Billy Madison. It is Billy Madison. She hit in the third grade for God. In the poster, it says third grade on the chalkboard. Like she literally just had to. You just described the poster. She was like, there was one point I was like, Roman, but you have to try and describe the film, not just what you see. It's, But no, but that one. I was like, well, yeah, you're not wrong. What did you give Billy Madison for three and a half fucksake? I'm always a half. Yeah, right. Until the next one. Yeah. This is interesting. So she starts off with, oh, God, how am I supposed to get anything for that? There's blood on his shirt. I'm sort of a gangster film. Oh, there's blood on his shirt. Some sort of gangster film, is it? No body, no incorrect. Yeah. Go and tag on me. Tagline. Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone. Oh, what? My fucking God. Oh okay. Awesome. That was Laughs with you. That's dark. It is. Now this film is interesting. Oh I've not seen it. However anything I ever hear about this film is positive. You on the other hand. Okay I'm going to take a stab in the dark. I don't think it's this one but is it voices. Incorrect. Incorrect. Film is old boy. Oh I fucking hate that film. Yes you do. Yes you do. That's the poster I showed. Like where's the blood? It's. It's black and white, but there is blood on this shout on. There is is. Yeah. Okay, I'm gonna. I know that old boy is in, like, the same realm as Blade Runner. Okay, so I will clarify why I don't like that film. I think it's incredibly outdated in the way of how it deals with the female character. It is just torture porn for men who like seeing women suffer. And I hated it. Oh, that's quite the review. What did you give it? You're a half a star. You gave a one and a half star. So there must have been. There was obviously something. Yeah, I'm. I'm a I'm a confess it was a DNF. Oh, really? Okay, I couldn't I got to a scene with him and, I think I know the scene. I've not seen the film. However, I do know of quite a twist in it. Maybe it's the scene. So there's a quote where she says it hurts, but I'm doing it for you. Not I, I had to turn off. I was like, I'm done from. Done. I can't handle this anymore. Yeah. All right, so we come to the final three to set. Well, so this one. Oh, I've heard of this. It's a video game. A scary one. You're in a house in the video game on you. Oh, my fucking days. Okay, so she's describing Resident Evil. Which is not the film. It's a video game. You're in the house in a video game. But it was a film remake of the video game. You didn't know? Yeah. Oh, fuck. When she said, oh, it's a video game. I was like, okay, is it pixels? But that's Pac-Man. That would be on the poster. So wouldn't be pixels, it wouldn't be fall Guy, not fall guy. Sorry. Free guy. That's also a video. Fuck me. I'm a good Resident Evil. Incorrect. Lana, is shit together. I will just, put out there that he. You know, throughout this episode, I have not forgotten that he is insulting my, my life partner, put me in a situation where all I was going to do is insult your life, as you both. Yeah. What was I going to say? I mean, to be violent. I'm really good. I mean, to be fair, the chick might one. Yeah. She deserves a little bit of stick. A lot of your, your eye is really beaming here. I feel like I want to not get the tagline on this one. I feel like I actually do want to, give it a crack, but, like, horror in a house, it's a video game. This is crazy, because that's resident fucking evil. I I'll let you guess and I'll let you just talk, you know, and then we'll describe it afterwards because, when she did a review and I typed it down, I was like, okay. And then she explained why she said it, and I was like, oh, yeah, okay. Fair enough. I gave her fair enough on this one. Your cat is not the only like the like, oh, okay. The only other game I have just shut out Aaron's cat. Yeah, I feel really bad about it, so do I. I feel all over the algorithms and trees, though. Yeah. The only other game which I feel like she probably has heard of, and those kind of feature house is Silent Hill, correct? Oh my God, it is correct. It's Silent Hill now. Not that I expected you to to known this, but she originally said, oh, it's got Norman Reedus in it. And I'm like, And I was like, I don't think it does. And then she was like, yeah, you're in a house and it's never ending. And it was that demo solid Kills. Yeah. And, I played that when I was at uni with her, and I was that Norman Reedus, the main character? It was a crying woman with about a wife. It was. So when she said, oh, it's got a house. And I'm like, I think, I don't think that's the main part of the film. But when she then I was like, oh, I'll give you a pass. Just like Pete is one of the best horror experiences I've ever had. The never ending kind of you go round the corners. Every time I remember that, and the amount of the amount of indie games that then stole that idea and just replicated it to shit, oh my god, hundreds, thousands. Remember what you gave Silent Hill? I know I didn't like Silent Hill. I might have to start you half off two and a half. Say, I didn't mind Silent Hill. I thought as a remake, I thought I had good points there. I think I saw a lot of, like, the behind the scenes of of how they made it. And a lot of it was practical, you know, with the fog around the three of them. Like the second one. Right? You penultimate one, a cat that thinks he's a fish. You're not going to get this. Oh, is it Flo? Oh, shit. Yeah. Okay. You're going to get this. Oh, sorry. Oh, I'll take that back. Oh, really? Oh, I think you're going to get this right. A lot of put that up before star is four and a half. There you go for now. Stars for Flo. And I know that because I was just looking at it at the start of this episode. Where are you? In my diary. Oh, just trying to go for a random poster for a cat floating. What are you going to think this film's about? And lo and behold, be the 2.0 no, I got you points as far as that. One more there is. We are on the final one. Okay, so. Oh, this is a video game. Scary children's toy that just tries to kill you. Oh, come on, come on. Tries to kill you. Oh my God. Okay, so, Gary, children's toy that tries to kill you. That's Annabelle. Is just. Is. But that's not video game. That's what video games have come out. Is this another one of those things where, like, she explains it to make sense or just not make sense? I can see her reasoning behind why she said what she said. Which which I think you will once you know the film. There you go. Oh, this is a video game. Scary children's toys that try and kill you all. Toys. All you have. Plural. There, I don't know, I didn't I didn't hear the plural the first time. Scary children toys that just try and kill you. Oh my God. Okay, I changed a little bit. Video game. Like, what would she think is a video game? Oh, yes. Bear with me. No, I was fine. We'll cut a lot out. Annoyingly, the more I think about it, like the further away from an answer I get. It's like if I don't get it straight away, I'm very unlikely to get it. You will immediately get it from the tackle or nothing. Well, I think now you'll want to be sure you get it from the tech one. I'm gonna go real left field here. I'm gonna. It's wrong. But, like, the only thing I can kind of think of. I'm going. Small soldiers. Incorrect. Incorrect. Would you like the tagline? Yep. Guaranteed. Point. Because you get it. Yeah. Going. And you survive five nights fucking children's toys. So the Five Nights at Freddy's, the poster, the poster is obviously it's the animatronics in a row with the eyes. Now, obviously you can't see the size of them, but it is literally cuddly teddies in the poster. So that's why. And I only go for the poster to look at. And obviously if you've seen that, you've only seen parts of the game, whatever. So I'll give her her due there. But yeah, Five Nights at Freddy's and what did you give it then? Like this. You did not like this one? I didn't like this one at all. I think it might have been one half right. You need to stop with the halves. Just stop with the halves and you'll get every single one. No, no, it matters on this one. But you gave it a one. You're not funny. So you say start with the halves. I think in the third, the one before flow I gave like a two annualize two and a half. So you say start with that. Just. I was just always on the wrong this time. Just gets it right, man. So that one you got ten out of a possible 20. So overall 21 out of 40 points have been achieved by your reviews. Alanis and Obsesses I want to point out how do you feel? I actually feel really fucking good about that, because I think I've hit the same percentile that you hit films you have seen and trivia questions. And then I had the hardest fucking quiz in the world, so. And hit your scores. So I'll give you that for the second part of the quiz. That was difficult. The first part of the quiz were films that you watched and reviewed and rated okay. One of them was banger. That is not like right up a review. That's not my fault, is it? You picked the hardest one. Do you know what you did? I'm not going to give you our easy point. I'm sorry you went out of your way to try and fuck me over and this upset, like, you know, because. Because I don't know from your perspective, if I said to you, banger, and you're gone. Oh, I know, yeah, I'm remembering that that was Suicide Squad. Jeremy, I don't know if that's something that would have been easy for you, because it was so simple and so one worded that you would have been like, well, the only review I've ever done for something like that is Suicide Squad. Let me do it here. Let me do it here. Let me do two real fucking quick because I know exactly what film anger. In fact, I know your review right now. It's my God. Oh, it will be Christmas on Windmill Mobile. Home alone for pick one. Oh. You all right? No. But if it's the same review for two films, you've only wrote banger on one. You've only wrote banger on one. If you wrote banger on three, wouldn't even be. If it wouldn't even be a question. What do you pick up the fucking film I mean, I for no, it was oh, shock. I was shocked at that result. Vindictive. Let me be big dig Tiff. Wow, that's a review. Wow. Go. Which one is it? Oh shit. What a lot of it. Wow. For, I put out on off write more for that review. Yeah I did yeah I was gonna to them on this one. I'll tell you. Let's get this. So you look at you, you cheeky bastard. You try that. The issue is all of your films very your all your views. Sorry. They very obviously say what film it is. Yeah. For example, an argument can be made that the Penguins provide some of the most memorable moments in the Madagascar trilogy. I wonder what fucking film that is. Well, yeah, migration obviously didn't write banger for it. You know, Christopher Reeves Superman Wrath of God, there we go. Yes. No, but that's what I'm saying. Like, how do I know that my reviews aren't going to come up in a quiz further down the line? That's your turn. My. That's yours. Surely that's all. That's all on you. You've been prepping for. That's how you write every review. That's. Yeah. Just wait. Waiting for in 2 or 3 years time. It could be used against me. I don't know anyone. Wait for next week. You're anyway fucking rue the day. I'm going to watch so many romcoms from now until next. Whenever we record next, next week. So. But no. Okay. I enjoyed their by romcoms, but due to the fact that I wasn't even on times that is necessarily me wrong. Oh my company was could be in. Oh good. It was a love story in a weird way. It was marketed as a love story. Oh yeah. So is Deadpool one. It like, definitely a fair offer. So I at least I at least hope you enjoyed this week's episode. I though I was a little bit more against it. However, I hope you good fun and obviously you know if you did try and guess some alone a synopsis well done if you got them right. Well done. You've got my star rating as well, obviously. Yes, R and star rating. And obviously the film reviews that he's left while you, you know, while you're looking at some of the star ratings that he's done. Give him a follow. Trying to actually go down other path. I mean, you know, I'm gonna say Emperor's New Groove. It was mentioned in this episode. It is a banger. It just came out of your four. Yeah, just it is art. If you want a film that is a banger, go watch Suicide Squad. You wouldn't. But James Gunn's version. Yes. Oh, yeah. James Gunn version. But any of the films that we kind of mentioned in this episode, see Guns Akimbo was quite a surreal experience for you. Yeah, I feel like you should watch Guns Akimbo come some prime.
